Custom Work

Commission a piece made for your room.

A commission begins with the interior: its dimensions, color direction, materials and the atmosphere you want to create. I use my understanding of natural fibers, construction, resistance, saturation and color placement to develop an original work for that setting.

  1. Tell me about the space

Send photographs, approximate dimensions, and anything that describes the room — a color direction, a finish sample, an architectural drawing, or simply the wall itself.

  2. Choose the direction

We settle the color direction, size and character together before any dye is mixed. For larger or color-sensitive projects, sampling can be discussed at this stage.

  3. I create the piece

I dye and finish the work by hand according to the approved direction.

  4. Approval and delivery

The finished work is photographed and sent to you for approval, then delivery or shipping is arranged.

A Note on Handmade Work

What to expect from hand-dyed work

Every piece is intentionally composed, but natural fiber and hand-applied dye create subtle variations that cannot be duplicated exactly. A commission establishes the palette, size and overall character rather than a pixel-identical copy.

If exact color coordination matters for the project, we can discuss samples before the full piece is made.
